Pipeline Pigs

Sub Categories
Bare/Swab Pigs Bare/Swab Pigs
Soft density foam: 1,2 and 4 lb/ft3 (16, 32 and 64 kg/m3). A bare swab pig offers the operator a pig with maximum flexibility to negotiate extreme reductions in cross sectional diameter and tight bends in pipelines.

Bare/Hard Pigs Bare/Hard Pigs
Medium density foam 5-8 lb/ft3 (80-128 kg/m3). The hard bare pig is used for medium length runs in pipes where extra abrasion resistance is required. The tough elastomer coating is still flexible enough to allow the pig to reduce to pass through minor cross-sectional diameter reductions or restrictions.

Poly Coated/Criss-Cross Pigs Poly Coated/Criss-Cross Pigs
Medium density foam 5-8 lb/ft3 (80-128 kg/m3). The criss cross poly-coated pig is used for medium length runs in pipes where extra abrasion resistance is required. The tough elastomer coating is still flexible enough to allow the pig to reduce to pass through minor cross-sectional diameter reductions or restrictions.

Javelina/Brush Pigs Javelina/Brush Pigs
Medium density foam, 5-8 lb/ft3 (80-128 kg/m3). The criss cross poly-coated wire brush pig is used for medium length runs in pipes where an abrasive substance is required to remove deposits on the pipe wall. The pig is capable of  turning at elbows, wyes and tees in the line.

Sandwich/Foam Disc Pigs Sandwich/Foam Disc Pigs
A foam disc or "Sandwich" pig offers the pipeline operator a pig with the scraping ability of a disc pig and the flexibility of a foam pig. The foam disc's multiple scraping surfaces provide superior wiping power in a pig that can be inserted into the system without the necessity of an expensive launcher. As with all pigs, the foam disc pig is available in a variety of foam densities and coatings.

Solid Cast/Urethane Pigs Solid Cast/Urethane Pigs
Solid-cast pigs are primarily used for product removal, batching, hydrostatic testing, and paraffin, debris or other buildup removal. Because they are lighter in weight than conventional steel pigs, these pigs are capable of making longer and more efficient runs. They are able to negotiate tight-radius bends as well as varying internal diameters of nominal pipe.

Squeegee/Scraper Cup (Steel Body) Pigs Squeegee/Scraper Cup (Steel Body) Pigs
"Steel Body" pigs are constructed of a steel and can be equipped with numerous accessories such as cups, discs, gauging plates, tracking transmitters, wire brushes and magnets. Available from 2 through 36-in pipe sizes. Larger sizes are available upon request.

Gauging Pigs Gauging Pigs
Designed for gauging new pipelines to prove the pipe is circular and that there is no excessive weld penetration or construction debris remaining in the pipe. One pass will assure passage of other units. Constructed of a tubular steel body fitted with easily replaceable neoprene or polyurethane cups and a gauging plate made from steel or aluminium alloy.

Replacement Disc, Brushes, and Plates for Replacement Disc, Brushes, and Plates for
Replacement cups, disc, gauging plates, and wire brushes for "Steel Body" pigs.

Cavity Pigs Cavity Pigs
A transmitter cavity can be incorporated into the body of any foam pig for use with a pig-tracking transmitter or pinger.

Spherical Pigs Spherical Pigs
Spheres are primarily used for meter proving in the oil and gas industry. However, they are also used for hydrostatic testing, batching and product removal. The unique aspect with spheres is their ability to negotiate tight-radius bends, and multiple units being stacked in specially designed sphere launcher and mechanically launched. Available in solid and inflatable type designs.

Cleaning Pigs Cleaning Pigs

Super Pigs Super Pigs
The unique construction and aggressive cup designs of the Super Pig® adapt rapidly to changing environments such as out of round pipe, dents and a broad spectrum of pipe wall thicknesses and tight bends. Super Pig® wears evenly and uniformly because of balanced and even weight distribution.
